I agree.

This happens with every new technology.

Something exciting happens then for a few years it seems like everybody wants to implement ML.,then they finally realize that ML cant solve everything… or even most things.

It’s just another tool, and all of the ML teams I know have a first job of deciding if ML is even going to be useful for X problem.

Obviously ML will continue to grow, but it was definitley overhyped for a while.
