I have doubts that coders will be replaced anytime soon.

  1. ML is a buzzword. Most people dont know how it works. Those who know, know it is not a silver bullet. ML is a very structured system that can tackle very specific problems with very little transferable application. Whenever anybody says “this new ML thing is revolutionary” my alarm bells ring. Considerable advancements dont happen very often.
  2. People have been saying “coders will be replaced” for decades. The reality is there is always the next level of coding problems.
